CHANGING LIVES THROUGH STORIES OF CURIOSITY & POSSIBILITY
Here’s a brief snapshot of my journey:
My father, an unemployed alcoholic cowboy, would drink with my high school basketball coach after every game. Determined not to follow in his footsteps, I focused on building wealth. By age 34, I had achieved that goal.
However, in my late 30s, I became disillusioned with what I thought would bring me happiness. I experimented with conventional therapy, joined a self-help program called Context, read numerous self-development books, and explored spirituality. Over time, my experiences allowed me to help others navigate their struggles and create real change in their lives.
However, two events changed everything for me. In 2012, I suffered a severe injury in a paragliding accident in Mexico. Then, in 2017, I lost an eight-year, multi-million-dollar lawsuit against a bank stemming from the 2008 Great Recession. This loss plunged me into depression, suicidal thoughts, and ultimately—bankruptcy.
Not one to give up, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, seeking answers to these five critical questions:
- Why did I continue repeating the same mistakes?
- What could I have done differently?
- What changes did I need to make to improve my life?
- Who could help me make those changes permanent?
- How could I help others who suffered like I did find answers to their questions, find inner peace, and create a life with fewer regrets?
After years of research, soul-searching, the use of plant medicine, and mindfulness practices, I finally discovered the answers I’d been seeking. More importantly, I managed to break free from the self-imposed mental cage that had held me back for so long.
Since that turning point, I’ve dedicated my life to helping others escape their mental cages, reduce stress, optimize their mental, physical, and spiritual health, and build deeper, more meaningful relationships with the people who matter most.
